Transparency and Global Recognition

In 2002 a pivotal moment occurred. We took a bold step towards growth with transparency by becoming a publicly listed company on the Bursa Malaysia. This strategy solidified our position in the global energy industry and also showcased our commitment to delivering excellence with full accountability to our stakeholders. Further developments followed with rebranding, becoming ‘Wasco’ to reflect our international stature for our oil and gas businesses. At the same time we restructured the Group into three distinct segments; Oil and Gas ‘Wasco’, Renewable Energy and Industrial Trading Services, to continually promote transparency as well as a better understanding of our business.

Gulf of Mexico Expansion

Venturing into offshore deepwater, we earned global trust with advanced flow assurance coating technology.

2010

Norway Mobile Plant

Our North Sea presence solidified with Equinor, proving our reliability for complex projects.

2013

Steam Turbine JV with Shinko

Our joint venture in Malaysia for steam turbines led to a 70% market share in biomass applications, aligning us with sustainable energy goals
